SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University softball team continues the regular season after an off-week as the team heads to the Pacific Northwest to compete in the Oregon Duck Invitational. Bryant is slated to play Montana, Toledo, Weber State and the host team Oregon. The team will play through the weekend, with the first game of the invitational on Friday and finale on Sunday.

SERIES HISTORY
- Montana and Bryant, although both at the USF Tournament, are meeting for the first time on Friday.
- The Bulldogs are taking on the Rockets for the first time in program history.
- Bryant and Weber State have met just once prior when the teams squared off last season at Cal Northridge's Matador Classic. Weber State won the game, 15-7.
- This will be the first game between Oregon and Bryant in program history.
BULLDOG NOTES AND NOTABLES
- Bryant enters the Oregon Duck Invitational with a 4-5 record on the season. The team last played at the USF Tournament, going 3-2 including a sweep of the host team.
- Senior catcher Robyn Ukegawa (Carlsbad, Calif.) is one of three Bulldogs' with a .333 batting average to lead the team. She has three doubles and a home run on the season.
- Freshmen Alexandra Hickey (St. John, Ind.) and Dakota Bilodeau (Milford, N.H.) are tied for the team lead with two home runs each. Hickey is the Bulldog leader in RBI, having driven in seven on the year.
- In the circle, redshirt junior Logan Paul (Shaker Heights, Ohio) is 3-0 with a 1.75 ERA. In her last time out, Paul threw all seven innings in a 4-1 win over USF. She allowed just six hits and one earned run against the Bulls.
SCOUTING THE FIELD
- Montana enters the weekend with a 5-14 record on the season. At last weekend's Red Desert Classic, the Grizzlies went 2-3 and ended the tournament with a 16-3 win over Nevada.
- Dolene Colburn leads Montana with a .385 average. She has four home runs and 14 RBI to lead the team in each category.
- In the circle, Colleen Driscoll is 1-2 for Montana with a 2.75 ERA. She has 12 strikeouts in 28 innings pitched.
- Toledo enters the weekend with a 10-9 record. The Rockets are on a four-game losing streak, falling in a doubleheader to Seattle U on March 6 and another to Portland State the following day.
- Bailey Curry has a .344 average with four home runs and 14 RBI, leading the team in all three categories.
- Heather Webb leads Toledo with a 2.50 ERA. She heads into the weekend with a 5-4 overall record, striking out 30 batters in 47.2 innings pitched.
- Weber State comes into the Oregon Duck Invitational with a 9-11 record. Also competing in the Red Desert Classic, the Wildcats went 3-2 record and earned a pair of wins over Utah Valley. They also topped Seattle in the tournament.
- Takesha Saltern leads the Wildcats with a .356 average and is 9-for-10 in stolen base attempts.
- Ashlyn Visser leads the team with seven home runs and 24 RBI.
- Oregon enters the weekend with an 18-4 record and is ranked sixth nationally in the NFCA Coaches Poll. The teams only losses have come against other nationally-ranked teams: #15 Ole Miss, #6 Texas A&M, #11 Tennessee, and #13 Florida State.
- Gwen Svekis leads the Ducks with eight home runs and 25 RBI. She has two different streaks of three-consecutive games with a home run this season.
- Miranda Elish leads the team in ERA and is second nationally, posting a mark of 0.14. She is 8-0 in the circle and has fanned 67 batters in 51 innings.
