Bryant has strong showing at James Brown Invitational

TOWSON, Md. -- The Bryant University women's bowling team competed in the James Brown Invitational over the weekend.

Bryant finished the three-day event with a 2-9 overall record. 

Friday - Baker

  • Bryant opened the weekend with a victory over Howard on Friday.
  • The Bulldogs then dropped a tight decision, 902-878, to 19th-ranked Medaille.  

Saturday - Traditional

  • Bryant had one of its strongest showings of the year on Saturday, bowling a season-high 974.
  • Bryant picked up a win, 945-858, over Coppin State. 
  • The Bulldog also dropped a narrow match to nationally-ranked Mount St. Mary's, 856-829. 

Sunday - Baker

  • Bryant closed the weekend with a loss to Howard on Sunday.
