Bulldogs head north for Dartmouth Invite

BULLDOGS COMPETE IN DARTMOUTH INVITATIONAL THIS WEEKEND

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's swimming and women's swimming and diving teams make their final road trip of the season this weekend when they travel to White River Junction, Vt., on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 27-28, for the Dartmouth Invitational.

With the Northeast Conference meet and the ECAC meet awaiting the Bulldogs at the end of February, the Dartmouth Invitational is one of two remaining competitions for the Black and Gold. This past weekend, the women split a pair of dual meets with UMass and Stony Brook, while the men dropped both meets.

Junior Casey Ostrander (Yarmouthport, Mass.) had an outstanding weekend in the pool, earning NEC Swimmer of the Week honors for the fifth time after winning all six individual events she competed in. Taylor DeBever (Denver, Colo.) won three events and Molly Smith(Belmont, Mass.) added two for the Bulldogs.

On the men's side, Graham Beck (Danvers, Mass.) put together a strong weekend that included a pair of victories against Stony Brook on Saturday. Cameron Hessler (Southbury, Conn.)Keagan Boshoff (Munich, Germany) and John Lawson (Bernardsville, N.J.) also put together strong weekends.

Following the Dartmouth Invitational, the Bulldogs will host Holy Cross on Saturday, Feb. 4 in their final meet of the season. Bryant will honor its senior swimmers prior to the meet with the Crusaders.
