Bryant Builds: Bulldog Athletics Initiatives

To create the world-class learning environment that aligns with our goals for Bryant’s bold future, we are enhancing our academic and athletic facilities to become the best in class. The Bryant Builds athletic initiatives include construction of the Bulldog Strength and Performance Center, an indoor practice facility, and a track and turf field, and enhancements to the Elizabeth and Malcolm Chace Wellness and Athletic Center.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Closing the books on a historic Bulldog career, senior guard Dyami Starks (Duluth, Minn.) of the Bryant University men’s basketball team was named to the NABC All-District First Team.

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Senior guard Dyami Starks (Duluth, Minn.) scored a game-high 19 points in the first of two 2015 Northeast Conference Semifinals, but the third-seeded Bryant University men’s basketball team fell to second-seeded Robert Morris, 66-53, Saturday at the Charles L. Sewall Center.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- The third-seeded Bryant University men’s basketball team advances to its first-ever NEC Semifinal after a 91-85 double-overtime thriller against sixth-seeded Sacred Heart in Wednesday’s quarterfinal. The Bulldogs take on second-seeded Robert Morris University Saturday at 12:00 p.m. for the right to move on to the NEC Championship. SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Senior guard Joe O’Shea (Burlington, Vt.) got off a 3-pointer from the top of the arc with 0.3 seconds left in regulation to tie the game at 63-63, but it would take two overtimes to finally decide the 2015 Northeast Conference Quarterfinal between third-seeded Bryant University and sixth-seeded Sacred Heart, as the Bulldogs outlasted the Pioneers, 91-85, Wednesday to advance to their first-ever NEC Semifinal.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – On the tails of its third-straight top-four league finish, the Bryant University men’s basketball team saw a trio of Bulldogs named All-Northeast Conference selections, as All-NEC First Team senior guard Dyami Starks (Duluth, Minn.), Second Team sophomore forward Dan Garvin (Bethel, Conn.) and Third Team senior guard Joe O’Shea (Burlington, Vt.) were all recognized for their standout 2014-15 performances.
