2023 Bryant University Football Gameday Guide

Welcome to Bryant University and the David M. '85 and Terry Beirne Stadium Complex for today's game. We are excited to have you on campus and have put together a gameday guide to make your day with us that much more enjoyable!

Tailgating Policy

Bryant Athletics Student Tailgate

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES

Policies pertaining to alcohol are in place so that all guests can enjoy the event in a safe and comfortable environment.

  • It is prohibited to bring alcohol into Beirne Stadium. Violators will be subject to ejection and applicable legal action. 
  • State law requires that all persons consuming alcohol be at least 21 years of age.
  • Intoxicated or alcohol impaired guests may be refused admission to Beirne Stadium.
  • Only two (2) alcoholic beverages per ID may be purchased at a time.
  • The Mi-Box Beer Garden, located in South End Zone, is open to those 21+. Beer sales will take place until the start of the fourth quarter.
  • Fans are permitted to take their beer from the Mi-Box Beer Garden to their seats.

BAGS AND BAG SEARCH

Guests will be able to carry the following style and size bag, package or container into the venue:

  • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12.” 
  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar). 
  • Small clutch bags, no larger than 5.5” x 7.5”, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the venue with one of the clear plastic bags. 
  • Items required for medical, family or child care needs are permitted after inspection

Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags that are not clear, diaper bags, non-approved seat cushions and chairbacks,* luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size.

BANNER AND SIGNS

Banners and pep signs are allowed provided they are hand-held of reasonable size, can be stored beneath the seat and do not block the view of other patrons. Any banner or sign containing profanity or objectionable material will be confiscated.

BOTTLES/CANS

It is prohibited for guests to bring into Beirne Stadium bottled water, flavored water and sports drinks, 

CONCESSIONS

The concession stands located on the north end of Beirne Stadium are available when stadium gates open one (1) hour prior to kickoff. No other food may be brought into the stadium.

CONDUCT/EJECTION

Fans are encouraged to treat visitors, players, coaches and officials with courtesy and respect. Abusive language or disorderly conduct is unacceptable and unwelcome in Beirne Stadium and may result in ejection. Anyone who interferes with the game by coming onto the field or by throwing objects will be ejected and possibly arrested. Bryant Athletics reserves the right to eject any patron whose behavior is against policy, unruly or illegal in nature. Event tickets will be forfeited without refund. Revocation of season tickets or arrest is possible.

CONTAINERS AND COOLERS

Cans, glass, bottles, ice chests, coolers, picnic baskets and insulated beverage containers are prohibited in Beirne Stadium.

ELECTRONIC TICKET SCANNING

  • All tickets will be electronically scanned to verify authenticity.
  • Fans are reminded that any items they bring into the stadium upon re-entry are subject to search. (See Bags and Bag Search for additional information). 

EMERGENCY INFORMATION

It is important that fans take time to review the emergency procedures established by K-State Athletics and create their own personal emergency plan in the event an emergency situation should occur. You are responsible for your own safety and using good judgment to assess risks and taking the appropriate actions. 

EXITING THE STADIUM

Guests may exit Beirne Stadium and return to their cars. Tailgating is not allowed once the game has begun.

FAN ACCOMMODATIONS

Questions regarding security, lost children, lost and found, etc., should be directed to the marketing table along the entrance to Beirne Stadium.

GATES

Gates open one (1) hours prior to kickoff. 

MERCHANDISE

Bryant gear can be purchased at the south end of Beirne Stadium.

PARKING

Stadium parking lots open five (4) hours prior to kickoff.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Cameras are permitted in Beirne Stadium for personal use only. Any commercial photography (large-lens with a stand or tripod) is prohibited. In no instance should anyone taking photographs block aisleways and/or seating areas or otherwise interfere with another fan’s enjoyment of the game.

PROGRAMS

Programs will be available for purchase at Beirne Stadium. 

PROHIBITED ITEMS & ACTIVITIES

  • Alcoholic beverages or controlled substances
  • Cans, glass, bottles, ice chests, coolers, picnic baskets and insulated beverage containers (see Containers and Coolers)
  • Large bags (see Bags and Bag Search)
  • Possession or use of firearms, explosives (including fireworks) or other weapons
  • Food and/or beverages (see Bottles/Cans)
  • Noisemakers
  • Portable chairback seats exceeding 18” in width
  • Large flags, flagpoles and items obstructing sightlines
  • Large strollers
  • Laser Pointers
  • Live animals (except Guide and Service Dogs)
  • Throwing of any objects
  • Banners, placards and leaflets not pre-approved by the Athletics Department
  • Standing in aisles and behind seating areas/aisles on concourse

RESTROOMS

Designated portable restrooms are open in the parking lot five (4) hours prior to kickoff. Restrooms are available in the center of the Beirne Stadium main stands (1) one hour prior to kickoff when the gates open. 

TAILGATING

Guests are asked to comply with the following tailgating guidelines:

  • Tailgating for the General Public opens four (4) hours prior to kickoff.
  • Fans must have a ticket to the game in order to tailgate. 
  • Tailgating is allowed in the parking lot adjacent to Beirne Stadium and the Bryant Strength and Conditioning Center.
  • Tailgating must cease ten (10) minutes prior to kickoff.  
  • Alcohol is permitted for those of legal age (21+). 
  • Grills and barbecues are allowed but coals must be disposed of in identified (red) bins.
  • Garbage and recyclables must also be disposed of in the proper receptacles. 
  • All tailgates must be shut down two (2) hours following the game. 
  • Bryant University reserves the right to revoke this privilege at any time for failure to adhere to these terms and conditions or for any other lawful reason. 

TICKETS

General Information: Tickets may be purchased online at BryantBulldogs.com/Tickets. The 2023 season will be done ticketless, with all tickets being scanned virtually on a phone or tablet. 
Will Call: A will call area for visiting fans will be available at the guest entrance to Beirne Stadium. The guest entrance is located on the left of the Bulldog Strength and Conditioning Center.
Player-Guests: Team will call will be located at the main entrance to Beirne Stadium.

Bryant Football Gameday Timeline (6:00 p.m. kickoff)

2:00 p.m. - Tailgating in Lots A and B opens

3:45 p.m. - Team walks to stadium

5:00 p.m. - Gates open 

5:00 p.m. - Merchandise sales begin

5:10 p.m. - Football team enters field for stretch.

5:45 p.m. - Band walks to stadium

5:50 p.m. - Tailgates close

5:52 p.m. - National Anthem

5:56 p.m. - Bryant enters the field

6:02 p.m. - Kickoff
