Kingi led the Bulldogs in the season’s opening weekend with 3.27 kills per set while adding 2.64 digs per set at the UIC Invitational. Bryant went 2-1 in the three-match weekend tournament with Kingi posting double-doubles in both Bulldog wins, including a five-set victory over Central Michigan Saturday. The California native hit .407 (13-2-27) with 10 kills in the weekend finale against Maryland Eastern Shore.
