Matt Kuhar, Men's Tennis

Kuhar advanced to the quarterfinals of the Oracle ITA Masters over the weekend in California, defeating two nationally ranked opponents along the way. The Smithfield native knocked off No. 30 August Holmgren of San Diego in straight sets in the opening round before defeating No. 96 Zeke Clark of Illinois in the second round. Kuhar’s run was ended by No. 81 Laurens Verboven of USC in the quarterfinals.
