Wright had the best week of her freshman campaign while helping the Black & Gold to a pair of wins over fellow NEC contenders. The Bulldog middle had a career-high 11 kills and added six blocks in Bryant’s five-set victory Tuesday over Central Connecticut and added a career-best eight blocks in Bryant’s first win over LIU in Brooklyn since 2010. Wright averaged 1.56 blocks per set on the week and helped the Bulldogs improve to 7-2 in the NEC.
