46 named to NEC Winter Academic Honor Roll; 12 make Commissioner's Honor Roll

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – A total of 46 Bryant University student-athletes were named to the 2015-16 Northeast Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll, including 12 who earned Commissioner's Honor Roll distinctions.

The NEC Academic Honor Roll consists of student-athletes who have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or above with 478 student-athletes qualifying for the distinction in the winter of 2015-16. Of those 478 student-athletes, 134 were named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll, an accolade that recognizes those who have maintained a GPA of 3.75 or above.

Women's track and field led the way with five of its own earning the Commissioner's Honor Roll distinction including Brittany Sarza, Jocelyn Davies, Staci Rezendes, Emma Washo, and Rebecca Nunez, while the men's side added four more with Alexander Evans, Kyle Ivanov, Brian Salit and Justin Patterson. Nicole Salzano (Women's Swimming and Diving), Morgan Olander (Women's Basketball) and Dennis Levene (Men's Basketball) round out the list of 12 Bulldogs who achieved a 3.75 GPA or higher this winter.
