Bryant to hold Bulldogs vs. Breast Cancer campaign

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University Athletics is partnering with the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation for the Bulldogs vs. Breast Cancer campaign, a department-wide initiative in the month of October to raise funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer.

Fans can stand brave and bold with the Bulldogs and support the cause by purchasing an official "Ironclad Strong" Bulldogs vs. Breast Cancer t-shirt. The t-shirts are $10 and 100% of proceeds will go to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation.

The five Bryant teams with a regular-season home game in October will hold a Bulldogs vs. Breast Cancer game, beginning with field hockey's Oct. 12 game vs. Sacred Heart. The full schedule of games can be found by clicking HERE.

The Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation, based in Rhode Island, was founded in 2004 in memory of Gloria Gemma, a wife and mother of nine who lost her courageous fight with breast cancer in 2002. The foundation is dedicated to providing free services to individuals and families touched by cancer in our local communities of Rhode Island, southeastern Massachusetts and eastern Connecticut.
