Bio

Kyle Murakami joined Bryant in January of 2024 as an Academic Advisor for Student-Athletes. Murakami is working with Men’s Soccer, Women’s Lacrosse, Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving, Women’s Rowing, Men’s Golf, Women’s Tennis, Men’s Tennis, and Bowling.

Prior to Bryant, Murakami worked as an Academic Advisor for his alma mater, Springfield College. Murakami is a double graduate of Springfield College ’20 and ’22, where he earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and a Master’s of Education in School Counseling. Throughout his time in graduate school, Murakami was a Volunteer Assistant Coach for the Springfield Men’s Lacrosse team. Most recently, for the 2023 season, Murakami was an Assistant Coach for the Western New England University Women’s Lacrosse team.

As a student-athlete at Springfield College on the Men’s Lacrosse team, Murakami was apart of two NEWMAC Conference Championship teams (2018, 2019) and served as a team captain in 2020. Other accolades while at Springfield College include USILA Academic All-American in 2020, NEWMAC First Team All-Conference in 2019, and NEWMAC Academic All-Conference in 2018, 2019, and 2020.

A native of South Burlington, Vermont. He currently resides in East Providence, RI.
