Hall of Fame Class of 2015 welcomes David Beirne

This week, Bryant Athletics will be announcing the Hall of Fame Class of 2015. The eight-member class will be announced alphabetically on twitter @BryantAthletics.  We are pleased to welcome the first inductee into the Hall of Fame, former men's lacrosse standout David Beirne '85. 

Beirne becomes the fourth former men’s lacrosse standout to enter the Bryant University Athletics Hall of Fame.  Serving as team captain, Beirne was a standout on the field with his tremendous skill and strength as an attackman, leading the Bulldogs in scoring his senior season.  His dedication and commitment to the sport helped build the foundation for the future of Bryant lacrosse.  His support has helped establish the current varsity program at Bryant as a perennial top-25 Division I program.

The bi-annual Hall of Fame Dinner and Induction Ceremony will take place this spring.

Members of the Bryant Athletics Hall of Fame are elected every two years into four different categories: student-athletes, coaches and administrators, teams, and contributors.
