Bio

Kacee Hooker was hired as a Sports Performance Graduate Assistant in August of 2023. She is currently pursuing an MBA from Bryant. 

Hooker comes to Smithfield after graduating from Bridgewater College (VA) in 2023 with a degree in Health and Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology and a nutritional studies concentration. In her time at Bridgewater, she spent two years as an undergraduate intern assisting with the training for several of the Eagles athletic teams, while programming for equestrian and cheerleading.  

While at Bridgewater, Kacee spent five years on the track and field team serving as a team captain for two of them. Hooker's career ended with many accolades including being on the all time top 10 list in several events at Bridgewater, breaking the outdoor 400m record, and qualifying for the NCAA D3 Outdoor National Championship in the 200m. She also received USTFCCCA All-Region and All-Academic, All-ODAC, and first team All-Region and All-State awards.
