BRYANT STUDENT-ATHLETES EARN NEC SCHOLAR AWARDS

BRYANT STUDENT-ATHLETES NAMED NEC WINTER SCHOLAR-ATHLETES

SOMERSET, NJ - Four Bryant University student-athletes have been named to the Northeast Conference Winter Commissioner's Honor Roll and 18 additional student-athletes have been named to the NEC Academic Honor Roll announced this week by the conference office.

The Commissioner's Honor Roll honors those with a 3.75 or better grade point average.   All Scholar-Athlete award winners must have earned a minimum of 60 semester hours, maintained a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.20 and participated with distinction as a member of a varsity team.

The four Bryant student-athletes earning Commissioner's Honor Roll distinction were freshman Ryan Busby (Derry, NH ), sophomore Scott Twardowski (Rehoboth, MA), freshman Katie Pelletier (Berwick, ME) and junior Margaret Dickinson (West Newbury, MA).  Busby, Twardowski and Pelletier were all members of Bryant's Indoor Track & Field teams while Dickinson is a key member of the Bulldogs' women's swim team.

The quartet of Busby, Twardowski, Pelletier and Dickinson were also named to the NEC Winter Academic Honor Roll along with 18 other Bulldogs recognized for their achievement in the classroom:
