Bryant Baseball Wins Second In A Row With 3-0 Victory Over #28 UMass Lowell
BULLDOGS DEFEAT #28 UMASS LOWELL 3-0
Lowell, MA - Paul Novakowski and Mark Dondero each
had a pair of hits to lead the Bulldogs to a 3-0 win over UMass
Lowell at LeLacheur Park under the lights on Tuesday. Bryant has
won two in a row and improve to 14-28 overall and jump to 12-10 in
conference play.
The Bulldogs got on the scoreboard in the top of the third, scoring a pair of runs on an RBI by Jason Alexander and an RBI single by senior Chris Brown. Bryant would tack on another run in the seventh on an RBI triple by Novakowski.
That would be all the offense the Bulldogs would need as they received a near perfect pitching performance from Luke Cowan. Cowan went eight strong innings scattering five hits while striking out seven in earning the victory.
Adam Vuolo came on in the ninth to the close the deal and picking up his fourth save on the season.
Bryant will host UMass Lowell at the Bryant Baseball Complex on Thursday at 3:30 pm.
