2006 Season Outlook: Paul will continue to provide outstanding defense at third base and be a presence in the middle of the Bryant batting order. Features a strong arm in the field and power at the plate.

As a Junior: Appeared in and started 42 games with a .314 batting average. Was also second on the team with 25 RBIs. Led the team with an OB% of .420.

As a Sophomore: Started in 56 of 57 games. Went 3-for-6 with 2 RBIs vs. Caldwell in NCAA Regional. 2-for-5 with 2 RBIs and two runs scored in win over Rollins at World Series. 2-for-3 with 3 RBIs and home run vs. Saint Rose. 2-for-4 with two triples vs. AIC ... made 6 defensive assists vs. Grand Valley

As a freshman: Third on the team in hitting with a .345 batting average. First Team All-Northeast-10 Conference selection. 13 multiple-hit games including a 7-game hit streak. 11 doubles and four home runs. Blasted a pair of solo home runs vs. C.W. Post on 3/22/03. Went 4-for-4 with 2 doubles and 3 RBIs vs. A.I.C. on 5/4/03.

Before Bryant: Team captain and four-year letterwinner at Holy Cross High School. Paul also earned all-city honors. He was team MVP and an all-conference pick at Bridgton Academy.

Personal: Paul was born June 8, 1983. He is the son of Jon and Darlene Novakowski.
