Eric Loh Named the 2007 ABCA/Rawlings Division II Northeast Regional Pitcher of the Year

EASTON, MASS. - After leading his team to the Northeast Regional Championship, junior ace Eric Loh (Old Greenwich, CT) was named the 2007 ABCA/Rawlings Division II Northeast Regional Pitcher of the Year.

Loh was named the Northeast-10 Conference Pitcher of the Year last week after posting an 8-3 mark with a 1.97 earned run average in 2007. He tossed three complete games in 12 starts while allowing just 19 earned runs in 86 2/3 innings of work.

The Bulldogs finished their season Sunday after losing the Regional Championship to Franklin Pierce, with an impressive record of 35-24.

Keith Renaud, who defeated the Bulldogs yesterday with seven shutout innings, was named the Player of the Year.

As winners of the regional awards, Renaud and Loh are both assured of spots on the 2007 ABCA/Rawlings Division II All-America team, which will be announced later this month.
