Eric Loh Selected as a Third-Team All-American
MONTGOMERY, AL. - Bryant junior right-hander Eric Loh (Old Greenwich, CT) capped off an outstanding season, by being selected as a third-team All-American.
The announcement was made last weekend at the Div. II College World Series in Montgomery, Alabama.
Loh, the ABCA/Rawlings Division II Northeast Regional Pitcher of the Year and Northeast-10 Conference Pitcher of the Year, posted an 8-3 mark with a 1.97 earned run average in 2007. He tossed three complete games in 12 starts while allowing just 19 earned runs in 86 2/3 innings of work.
The Bulldogs finished 2007 with an impressive record of 35-24 and were just two wins from advancing to the World Series in Alabama. They finished ranked second in the Northeast region.
Loh is the seventh All-American in Bryant baseball history, joining Tony Garganese, Darin Dagle, Jason Eldridge, Jeff Renga, Stephen Sloan and Mickey Ryan.
