About Vuolo: The Bryant record holder in saves, Vuolo returns as the Bulldogs' closer in 2008. The senior captain is a great competitor with incredible mound presence and tremendous movement on his fastball.

As a junior: Set a pair of Bryant records for saves (12) and appearances (31) in a season ... Holds career records with 17 saves and 67 appearances ... Posted a 2.25 ERA and held opponents to a .235 batting average ... NE-10 Third Team selection.

As a sophomore: Posted team-leading five saves in 28 appearances, anchoring the pitching staff as its closer ... Registered a win vs. Southern New Hampshire, throwing 5.2 shutout innings ... Finished season with 33 strikeouts ... NE-10 Third Team selection.
