2010 (Freshman): Saw action in 16 games in his first year as a catcher … Made nine starts on the season … Collected six hits on the season hitting .261 … Season-high two hits at Monmouth on Mar. 27 where he went 2-for-3 at the plate with two runs scored and three RBIs … Hit two doubles in the game … Went 1-for-3 with a run scored and RBI in win over Hartford at home … Threw out one base runner and had just four passed balls.

High School: Athletic player with offensive potential to go along with size, speed and arm strength ... Named First Team All-Conference, All-County, All-Area, and Group III  ... Hit .439 with five home runs and 31 RBI during his junior season. Granat plays his summer baseball with the NJ Super 17's, helping lead the team to a Top-16 finish in the WWBA Championship
