Baseball ranked in NEIBA top 5
SMITHFIELD, R.I. – For the second-straight week, the Bryant University baseball team was ranked in the New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association Division I top five. The Bulldogs, who finished the regular season and their third go around at the DI level 30-23 overall, was ranked in a tie for fourth with fellow Northeast Conference foe Sacred Heart with five first-place points each.
Voted on by fellow New England College Baseball Coaches, the weekly poll ranks the top five programs at each level. Bryant ousted fellow NEC member Central Connecticut and regional rivals Maine and Holy Cross to claim the fourth spot.
