As a junior: The Bulldogs' starting shorstop, Muscatello appeared in all 54 games in his junior season ... Hit .290 and tied Jamie Skagerlind for the team lead in hits with 56 ... Collected six doubles, one triple, drove in 17 and finished second on the team with 37 runs scored ... Tied for the team lead with 23 walks and posted a .943 fielding percentage ... Opened the season with two hits and two RBI against St. Joseph's (Feb. 17) ... Had a career-day against George Mason (Mar. 3), recording career-highs in RBI (5) and runs scored (4) ... Scored two or more runs in a game nine times on the year ... Recorded three hits, three runs and four RBI in a two-game stretch against Northeastern and Quinnipiac ... Scored five runs in a two-game stretch against Quinnipiac and Connecticut ... Worked a season-high three walks against the Huskies on Apr. 17 ... As a freshman: Appeared in 13 games including four as a starter … Started at shortstop against Marist and went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBIs … Had two hits against Hartford and drove in a run.

Before Bryant:  A sure-handed switch-hitting infielder ... Named a TVL All-Star in 2008, helping lead Hopkinton to a TVL Championship with a 19-3 record ... Played summer baseball for Milford Legion, where the team reached the state tournament in 2007 and 2008 ... Four-year letterwinner in baseball and earned two letters in basketball at Hopkinton ...Two- year League All-Star in baseball ... 2009 League Defensive Player of the Year selection ... Personal: Born January 22, 1990 ... Son of Dan and Kim Muscatello ... Has two brothers, Steve and Dan ...  Steve played baseball at Assumption and David Dan's brother, Dave, a 2008 Bryant University graduate and was the starting second baseman for the Bulldogs in 2007 and 2008.
