As a senior: Made the move to the mid-week starter roll and became the top mid-week starter in New England in 2013 ... Achieved the ultimate goal as he was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the 33rd round (1001st overall) in the MLB Amateur Draft ... Appeared in 14 games, making nine starts, while going 6-3 with two saves and a 3.00 ERA in 63 innings ... Struck out 61, walked 28 and held opponents to a .225 average ... Tossed three scoreless innings and struck out three in his first appearance of the season against Houston Baptist (2/23) ...
