SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University baseball team is headed to Baton Rouge, La. The Bulldogs, champions of the Northeast Conference and the third seed, will face second-seeded Houston on Friday, May 30 at 8:00 p.m. EST on ESPN3 in the Baton Rouge Regional hosted by LSU at Alex Box Stadium. The entire 64-team field was announced on Monday during the Selection Show on ESPNU.

For the second-straight season the Bulldogs (42-14) have earned a No. 3 seed. They will face the second-seeded Cougars (44-15), champions of the American Athletic Conference. LSU, who received the No. 8 national seed, will serve as the host and face fourth-seeded Southeastern Louisiana Friday at 3:00 p.m. EST. The tournament continues with games on Saturday, Sunday and Monday (if necessary).

LSU's Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field is one of the most iconic college parks in the country. The national leader in attendance this season, the Tigers draw an average of 10,812 fans.

Bryant is one of 64 teams to make the NCAA tournament and will compete at one of 16 regional sites. The regional winners will face off in a best-of-three Super Regional, with the eight victors advancing to the College World Series in Omaha, Neb.
