Anderson, Mullen named to all-tournament team

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Junior classmates Carl Anderson (Sudbury, Mass.) and John Mullen (Walpole, Mass.) were named to the Baton Rouge Regional All-Tournament team on Monday after their exceptional play against Houston and Southeast Louisiana.

In two games, Anderson and Mullen each hit .500 for the Bulldogs. Bryant's leadoff batter, Anderson was 5-for-10 in the two games, including three hits and an RBI in Saturday's game against SLU. Mullen went 4-for-8, including a game-tying two-out RBI single in the top of the ninth in the opener against Houston.

The Bulldogs were eliminated in two games, dropping a pair of extra-inning decisions. They fell to Houston 3-2 in 10 innings and SLU 2-1 in 10 innings.
