Bingel turned in the best performance of his career in his first career start on Tuesday. He allowed just three hits, struck out one over 6.2 scoreless innings. Bingel singles in the second and third inning but was took over from there, retiring 12 of the final 14 batters he faced on the afternoon. URI's Chris Hess chased him with a two-out triple in the seventh but junior James Davitt (Wallingford, Conn.) put the fire out by fanning Connor Foreman on just three pitches to end the inning. Rinn then rapped a single up the middle to score both and make it 2-0.

Bryant added to its lead with two runs in the fourth and a single run in the fifth. In the fourth, senior John Mullen (Walpole, Mass.) knocked a leadoff triple into the right field corner and came around to score on a wild pitch. Two batters later, junior Buck McCarthy (Saugus, Mass.) plated Bingel with a fielder's choice.

In the fifth, Mountford knocked a one-out single through the right side, stole second and advanced to third on a ground out. Rinn then laced a two-out double down the left field line to score him and push Bryant's lead to 5-0.

Rinn (2-4, 3RBI), Mountford (2-4, 2R), Albanese (2-4) and Zarozny (2-4) all finished with two hits for the Bulldogs. Mullen extended his on-base streak to 19 games and Fabio extended his to 16 games.
