Baseball opens Black and Gold World Series on Thursday afternoon
SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University baseball team begins its Black and Gold World Series on Thursday afternoon at Conaty Park.
The series begins on Thursday afternoon with a six-inning game and will finish up on Friday (7 innings) and Sunday (6 innings). It will follow a 'skins' format with each inning over the course of the three-day series counting as a skin.
If you win the inning, you win the skin. If the inning isn't won by either team, the skin value rolls into the next inning (s) until an inning is won. The winning team on each day will receive five skins.
The Bulldogs have broken the squad into Team Pettoruto and Team Grenier.
