SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University baseball team wraps us the non-conference portion of its schedule on Tuesday afternoon when it hosts UMass Lowell at Conaty Park. First pitch is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.

Pitching Probables

Tuesday – Will Treuel (0-0, 6.75) vs. John Polichetti (0-3, 7.36)

Freshman Will Treuel (Wolfeboro, N.H.) will make his first-career start for the Bulldogs on Tuesday afternoon. Treuel has made five relief appearances on the season, tossing a season-high 1 2/3 innings at Rhode Island.

John Polichetti will make his fifth start for UMass Lowell. He's 0-3 with a 7.36 ERA in 18 1/3 innings. He allowed just two earned runs on six hits over five innings vs. Northeastern earlier this year.

  • Bryant received a jolt from junior Nick Angelini (Bedford, N.H.) on Sunday as he hit a walk-off home run against Wagner. Angelini, who returned to the lineup last Friday, now has four home runs on the year.
  • As a team, the Bulldogs have hit 40 home runs this season. It is just the fourth time they have accomplished the feat in DI program history.
  • The Black and Gold also enter the final week of the regular season with an NEC-best 4.42 team ERA. Bryant pitchers have struck out 378 batters on the season.
