Tyler Reynolds Named By ACHA All Northeast Region: First Team Forward

Smithfield, RI – Bryant University Hockey Caption Tyler Reynolds has been named by the American Collegiate Hockey Association: All Northeast Region First Team Forward. This accomplishment was rightfully earned. Ty has had an outstanding season earning a total of 50 points for Bryant this regular season. Great work #18.

Tyler answered some questions regarding his Bryant University Hockey career:

How has this current season compared to previous seasons of your Bryant hockey career?

The overall camaraderie of the team. We have 11 seniors this year and we are all super close. Our records are eerily similar to my past two seasons here but the energy as a team is definitely different. The season is very long and can be straining on a team but we have some great leaders who have stepped up in the last month to ensure everyone is still on the same page.

What are your goals for playoffs? What do you want to see happen?

I can speak for everyone when I say I’m looking to make a deep run into regionals and give ourselves a chance at Nationals. We have the team to do it this year and that is ultimately the end goal. More than anything, though I want to enjoy this weekend as much as possible, this is the last chance we’re going to get with this group of guys so creating some more memories with this team is something that is incredibly important to me.

How do you feel about receiving the ACHA All Northeast Regional First Team Award? What does the award mean to you?

It definitely feels good to be recognized for this award. There are some very good players in the Northeast that play for this league and to be 1 out of 5 players selected to the First Team means a lot. I seriously can’t thank my teammates enough though. I played the majority of the season with Matt Hulse and Arthur Tsimmerman on my line and attribute the majority of my success to them. They are some of the most unselfish players I have played with both on and off the ice and I can’t thank them enough for all they did this year.

What are you going to miss the most about Bryant Hockey?

Definitely my teammates. Being able to go to the rink with all of them and do something we are all passionate about together is extremely fulfilling. I’ve met some of my best friends through this team and I am going to miss being able to play with every single one of them.
