RACQUETBALL FINISHES THEIR SEASON STRONG

TEMPE, A.Z. -- The Bulldogs had an exciting trip to Arizona to compete in the USA Racquetball National Championship.  It was a very successful tournament and an incredible experience for the team.

Game Info:

  • Andrew Zolonis and Michael Lynch from Bryant University defeated Daniel Pristo and Luke Vaughn from Arizona University  

    • Match 1: 13-15  Match 2: 15-6 Match 3:  11-8

  • Savannah Schreiber from Bryant University defeated Julia Guay from the University of Connecticut  

    • Match 1:  13-15 Match 2:  15-6 Match 3: 11-8

  • Michael LaVallee from Bryant University defeated Chris Rhim from the University of California at Berkeley

    • Match 1:  15-0 Match 2:  15-0

  • Yuvraj Duggal from Bryant University defeated Edward Ramirez from the University of California at Berkeley

    • Match 1:  9-15 Match 2:  15-14 Match 3: 11-9

  • Michael Lynch from Bryant University defeated Daniel Pristo from Northern Arizona University

    • Match 1:  15-6 Match 2:  15-10

Final Score:

  • Yuvraj Duggal won 1st place in Men’s Collegiate Singles No. 1 Red Division

  • Michael Lynch won 4th place in Men’s Collegiate Singles No. 3 White Division

  • Jacquelyn Amaral won 4th place in Women’s Collegiate Singles No. 1 White Division

  • Savannah Schreiber won 4th place in Women’s Collegiate Singles No. 2 Red Division

Comments:

  • Everyone showed great school spirit and sportsmanship and it was a great way to end the season!

Up Next:

  • The Bulldogs have finished their season and will continue practicing in preparation and anticipation for next year!
