They faced Endicott College and Mass Maritime Academy racing a 1v4+, 2v4+ and a 3v4+. After the race concluded, the 1v4+ and 2v8+ completed a time trial to gauge where they would place for their biggest race of the season the following weekend.

Final Results:

  • Bryant 7:58.87

  • Endicott 8:38.76

  • Mass Maritime 8:57.97

  • Endicott 8:24.55

  • Bryant 8:26.28

  • Mass Maritime 9:01.20

Race Info:

  • The conditions were consistent throughout most of the race except for a slight tailwind towards the last 1k

  • Once again, Bryant was able to maintain open water between boats, except for the very last portion of the 2v4+’s race

  • Their boat was rigged differently for this race, so it threw the crew off slightly which contributed to their slight loss

  • The time’s from this race are very promising for the NERC race taking place on Saturday, May 4th

  • The head coach believes that all boats have a good chance of meddling next weekend

Up Next:

  • The Bulldogs will be heading to Worcester this Saturday, May 4th to compete in their final Spring season race: The New England Rowing Championships

  • The team will be losing six seniors: Jackie Conley, Rachel Balcom, Rachael & Rebecca Klei, Marlee O’Keefe, and Mara Pretre
