ROWING RISES TO THE TOP

WORCESTER, M.A. -- The Women’s Rowing team headed to Worcester, M.A. on Saturday, October 13th for their second race of the fall season. It was very cold due to the low temperature mixed with rain. This didn’t stop the girls from pushing through and placing impeccable better than last year!

Results:

  • V4+: 5th place - 17:51.804

  • 2V4+: 10th place - 19:00.705

  • Novice 4+: 6th place - 22:27.692

Race Info:

  • The day started with a 6:30 a.m. departure time from Bryant

  • The V4+ and 2V4+ race start time was 9:39 a.m. and novice start time was 10:03 a.m.

  • The V4+ defeated Bowdoin College, who were NERC champions this past Spring

  • The 2V4+ defeated many other A-boats from various teams

Highlights:

  • The V4+ made their way up 12 places compared to last year’s 17th place

  • They improved their time from 18:58.904 to 17:51.804

  • The 2V4+ made their way up 10 places compared to last year’s 10th place

  • They improved their time from 20:34.117 to 19:00.705
