BULLDOGS PREVAIL WITH TWO PLAYERS DOWN

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Bryant University Women’s Rugby team returned for the 2019-2020 season after winning the Division 2 7s National Championship in Tucson, Arizona in May. This past weekend, they kicked off the new school year by traveling to face Roger Williams University in their first match since May.

Final Score:

• Bryant 33 – 3 Roger Williams University

Highlights:

• Erica Johanson was named Player of the Match
• The Bulldogs played down a player for last 68 minutes of the match
• They then played with two players down for the last 30 minutes of the match
