GO BLACK, GO GOLD!

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – On October 25th, The Bryant University Men's and Women’s Basketball teams kicked off their 2018-2019 season at the Black and Gold tip-off event. The event boasted a number of fun activities and prizes, as well as performances by the Bryant University Pep Band, Cheerleading team, and Dance team.

The Dance team choreographed their hip-hop performance to a mashup of the songs 7/11 and End of Time by Beyoncé. The crowd went wild in reaction to their routine, which added much enthusiasm and excitement to the introduction of the Men's and Women’s Basketball teams.

Throughout the event, the Dance team also performed a number of sideline routines and band dances to keep the crowd’s energy up. Alyssa Belanger, Dance team member, added that, “we had so much fun introducing the teams and performing at the tip-off. It was also so fun interacting with members of the crowd during the games that were set up.”
