BRYANT DANCE WELCOMES CLASS OF 2022

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Convocation, also known as the first gathering of the academic year for the entire Bryant community, is one of the oldest traditions on campus. This year the ceremony took place on Wednesday, September 5th, where the Bryant University Dance team cheered on the new Class of 2022 students on their walk to the event.

While supporting the freshmen on their walk, the Dance team also distributed flyers for an upcoming tryout. From Convocation alone, the Dance team was able to recruit four new first-year members, for a total of eighteen dancers.

Alyssa Belanger, Social Media representative for the Dance team, commented on their group this year, “We have a great group of close-knit girls who manage to work incredibly hard in and outside of practice, while still finding the fun within the long, tough practices.”
