Game Info:

Many of the top teams in New England played in the Lobster Pot tournament, including last year’s national runner ups, Brown, and other notable teams. Including UVM, Northeaster, and Dartmouth. Craze went into the tournament ranked 17th.

Craze’s first game was up against the #16 ranked team: URI. The team played a very good game and won 12-8. Our offense was led by Clark Bishop and Jackson Burns aka Madonna who both finished the game with the majority of points scored for the team and perfect completion percentages. Defensively Ben Dodge and Jackson Burns each recorded 3 Ds to swing momentum in Bryant’s favor.

Our next 3 games on Saturday were against much more polished frisbee teams in #1 ranked Brown, #8 ranked Harvard, and #9 ranked Rutgers. We struggled to move our offense against these teams, but we held our own defensively thanks to the efforts of Ben Dodge and Alex Leduc.

Our first game on Sunday was against the #6 ranked UConn who showed up ready to play. They took an early lead, but we started to fight back towards the end of the game. Our offense was led by Clark Bishop and Connor Emery who brought the game to a tie at 7-7. We lost the game 13-10.

Our last game on Sunday was against a familiar Bates team who we played twice last year going 1-1 against them. This is a competitive d3 team who we will most likely face in crucial games in

the spring to decide who goes to nationals. The game was close the entire way through. We went into the half tied 8-8. We wanted it more than them and ended up winning 10-9. Our offense was once again led by Clark Bishop with strong defensive performances by Ben Dodge and Jackson Burns who once again both had 3 Ds in the game.
