In the record books: Johnson graduates with her name engraved throughout the Bryant field hockey history books... SINGLE-GAME: tied for fourth in most goals (3 vs. Southern Conn., Oct. 18, 2006); tied for fifth for most points (6 vs. Southern Conn., Oct. 18, 2006); tied for seventh in most shots (7 vs. Merrimack, Sept. 10, 2007)... SINGLE-SEASON: tied for first in penalty strokes made (1, 2007); tied for fourth in shots on goal (32, 2006); sixth in shots on goal per game (1.52, 2006); tied for sixth in shots on goal (29, 2007) and game-winning goals (2, 2007); seventh in shots on goal per game (1.45, 2007); tied for seventh in games started (21, 2006); tied for ninth in shots attempted (44, 2006 & 2007)... Career: Johnson has seen action in every game since setting foot on campus as a freshman, appearing in 77 career games over the past four years... Has tallied 15 goals and 10 assists as a Bulldog... Three of those goals were game winners... Took an impressive 128 career shots with 84 of them going on goal.

As a senior: Started all 18 games for the Bulldogs as a senior captain, recording a goal and an assist on the season... Scored Bryant's only goal in a 2-1 loss at Saint Francis (PA) on Oct. 4... Notched an assist against Sacred Heart... Registered 20 shots and 12 shots on goal for the year... Named a Northeast Conference Academic Honor Roll selection.

As a junior: Started all 18 games at midfield... Tied for second on the team with six points (2g, 2a)... Took 20 shots, putting 11 on net for a .550 shooting percentage... Scored goals at Saint Francis (PA) and Davidson while recording assists against Robert Morris and Dartmouth.
 
As a sophomore: Appeared in all 20 games, starting in all 20 ... Scored four goals with five assists.

As a freshman: Started in all 21 games, scoring eight goals and adding two assists for the second-highest points and goals total on the team.

Before Bryant: A 2006 graduate of Walpole High School, Johnson was a three-year varsity letterwinner and two-year starter for the Rebels... Also lettered in basketball and softball... Led her team to Bay State League title and Mass. I State Championship as a junior... Daily Transcript All-Star selection... Basketball captain... Invited to "Best of 80" College Showcase for basketball... Honor roll student.

Personal: Daughter of Dave and Mary Johnson, Caitlan Marie Johnson was born Feb. 21, 1988.

COACHES' CORNER: A true leader who has started every game since setting foot on campus, Caitlan has a commanding presence on the field. She made improvements last spring and we will be counting on her to be a playmaker in the midfield this season.
