Bio

In the record books: Kuchyt enters her senior season already having left her mark on the Bryant field hockey history books and will look to move up in a number of single-game, single-season and all-time career lists before graduating in 2011... SINGLE-GAME: tied for fourth in goals (3 vs. Saint Anselm, Sept. 12, 2007); tied for fifth in points (6 vs. Saint Anselm, Sept. 12, 2007) and assists (2 vs. Merrimack, Sept. 10, 2007)... SINGLE-SEASON: tied for sixth in game-winning goals (2, 2007)... CAREER: 10th in career assists per game (.15); tied for 10th in shots on goal (21).

As a junior: Started all 18 games as a junior, recording a goal and two assists on the season... Notched a tally to avoid the shutout in Bryant's 2-1 loss to Sacred Heart on the road Oct. 18... Tallied assists against Siena and in the season finale against LaSalle... Took 23 shots on the year, third most on the team.

As a sophomore: Appeared in 14 games while making 11 starts... Tied for fifth on the team with four points... Scored a goal in 3-2 win over Mansfield... Registered assists in back-to-back games against Sacred Heart and Rider.

As a freshman: Started all 20 games as a freshman... Was the team's third-leading scorer with six goals and four assists, including two game-winners.

Before Bryant: A 2007 graduate of Smith Academy in Hatfield, Mass., Kuchyt was a four-year letterwinner for the Falcons... Led team to an undefeated league championship in 2005... Led team to Western Massachusetts championship and state finals in 2003.

Personal: Daughter of Gary Kuchyt and Melinda Martin, Julie Elizabeth Kuchyt was born on February 9, 1989.

COACHES' CORNER: Julie has a great game sense and a knack for threading passes. She is a very versatile player who can play wherever we need her to help out this season.
