In the record books: Blitz's three defensive saves in 2009 are good to rank her fifth in single-season history and tie her for fifth all-time on the career defensive saves list.

As a freshman: Appeared in all 18 games, making 13 starts... Had three defensive saves on the season, including two in a 2-0 victory over NEC foe Quinnipiac on Oct. 25... The other came in a 2-4 loss to Dartmouth... Three defensive saves on the season are good to rank her No. 5 in the single-season record books... Named to the Northeast Conference Academic Honor Roll.

Before Bryant: A 2008 graduate of Deerfield High School, Blitz was a three-year starter for the Warriors... Led team to a No. 5 ranking in Illinois... Named team captain as a senior... Two-time Team MVP... Two-time all-state selection as a junior and senior... Named an all-academic selection in 2008... Named the Deerfield Scholar-Athlete... Competed in every athletic season for all four years at Deerfield... Also participated in the Futures program from 2006-08... Member of the Windy City Flyers field hockey club where she was the recipient of the Impact Player Award and was named Team MVP in 2008...
