MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Sophomore Courtney Landi (Kingston, N.Y.) scored two goals to help lead the Bryant University field hockey team to a 4-0 win over Robert Morris Friday afternoon in the Northeast Conference opener for both teams. Landi's pair of tallies, both coming in the first half, gives her a team-best six goals on the season as the Bulldogs improve to 4-6 overall.

Landi netted what would prove to be the eventual game-winner just 15 minutes into the game and followed with her second 10 minutes later to give the Bulldogs a 2-0 advantage at the half.

After the break, sophomore Aly Czerniak (Holyoke, Mass.) made it 3-0 with a goal just three minutes in, while junior Toby Maltz (Andover, Mass.) netted her first goal of the season moments later to put the game away.

Bryant outshot Robert Morris (1-7, 0-1 NEC), 24-5, in the game while senior goalie Kundayi Mawema (Harare, Zimbabwe) made one save before being replaced by sophomore Jennifer Gullotti (Waltham, Mass.), who made her first appearance of the season in goal for the Bulldogs.

Bryant remains in Pennsylvania for its next contest, when the Bulldogs will travel to Saint Francis (PA) on Sunday for a 12 p.m. Northeast Conference game.
