Bulldogs look for second win of the season against Harvard on Monday afternoon

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University field hockey team travels to Cambridge to take on Harvard, Monday at 1 p.m.

After coming off their first win of the season, the Bulldogs (1-3) look to keep the momentum going as they cross over into the Ivy League to play at Harvard (0-1).

Freshman keeper Marissa Elizardo (North Wales, Pa.) received the start for the Black and Gold in their latest match against Colgate, where she helped lead the team to a 4-1 victory.  

The Crimson returns senior Issy Davies in net. Davies recorded one save and allowed two goals in Harvard's first matchup of the season against Holy Cross.

Junior Victoria Danby (Lancaster, Mass.) leads the Bulldogs with nine points off four goals and one assist. Danby is attempting to extend her goal scoring streak to four games in a row.

Sophomore Anna Kennedy (Macungie, Pa.) is looking for her first tally of the season after firing off four shots on goal in the first four games.

Sophomore Marissa Balleza has tallied the Crimson's only goal of the season off four attempts in their 2-1 loss to Holy Cross.
