16 Bulldogs named to 2016 MAAC All-Academic Team

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Following the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Tournament banquet, 16 players from the Bryant University field hockey squad were announced to the conference's 2016 All-Academic Team.

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, the student-athlete has to have completed a minimum of two semesters at their respective school and hold a cumulative GPA of 3.20 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher. Bryant contributed the highest number of players to receive such honors, as the team holds a 3.63 combined GPA. Below is the full list of Bulldogs that made the all-academic team:

Emiko Barker (Hatfield, Mass.) – senior, Marketing

Elena Borovskis (Pequannock, N.J.) – senior, Biology and Psychology

Hannah Coburn (Lone Tree, Colo.) – junior, Biology

Victoria Danby (Lancaster, Mass.) – senior, Marketing

Leyna DiMarco (Glastonbury, Conn.) – sophomore, Undecided

Marissa Elizardo (North Wales, Pa.) – sophomore, Undecided

Grace Farrell (Milford, Pa.) – junior, Communication

Jessica Fleet (Londonderry, N.H.) – senior, Politics and Law

Mary Cate Gallagher (Walls, N.J.) - sophomore, Biology

Erin Karcher (Kennet Square, Pa.) – senior, Communication

Victoria Newbill (Wilton, Maine) – sophomore, Accounting

Emily Perryman (Lebanon, N.H.) – sophomore, Undecided
