SMITHFIELD, R.I. – After showing off her game over the five-day Young Women's National Championship event, Bryant University rising junior Victoria Newbill (Wilton, Maine) has been selected to participate in the 2017 Development Squad National Camp June 17-20.

Newbill was among the 34 players chosen from a pool of more than 130 to participate in the elite national camp following the 2017 Young Women's National Championship, which featured the most elite female collegiate and post-collegiate field hockey players in the country.

Newbill, who is the first Bulldog to attend the national tournament, will remain at Spooky Nook Sports in Lancaster, Pa., for the Development Squad National Camp, where she will compete to continue her progression within the Olympic Development pipeline. She is the only player to qualify out of the MAAC.
