Field Hockey announces 8-game schedule

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University field hockey head coach Laura Gebhart announced the 2021 schedule on Monday.

The Bulldogs will play an abbreviated spring schedule that includes six Northeast Conference games and two non-conference matches.

Bryant opens its schedule on March 4 when it travels to UMass Lowell. The Bulldogs will also face Northeastern on March 7.

The Black and Gold then opens its six-game league slate on Mar. 18 at home against Merrimack. Bryant will also host Rider (Mar. 25) and Sacred Heart (Apr. 8). The Bulldogs will play Fairfield (Mar. 22), Wager (Apr. 5) and Long Island (Apr. 15) on the road.

Bryant will play its home games the Bryant Track & Turf Complex. All six league games will take place on either Mondays (two) or Thursdays (four).
