PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Zoe Bates and Valerie van Dommelen each scored their first-career goals but the Bryant University field hockey team fell to Brown, 4-2, on Friday afternoon.

- The Bears scored three goals in an 11-minute span in the second quarter to take a 3-0 lead to halftime.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Lucy Adams broke the deadlock just over a minute into the second quarter. It started a string of three Brown goals in the next 11 minutes to make it 3-0.
The Bears would push it 4-0 before Bryant got on the board. Bates scored her first-career goal on a rebound, while van Dommelen tipped home a shot from Lotte Guitink to make it 4-2.
