- Stanford scored as time expired in the first quarter and it was all the Cardinal needed.
HOW IT HAPPENED
In what looked to be a scoreless first, Stanford was able to score late. The Cardinal earned a penalty corner with just two seconds left and scored on a loose ball in the circle.
The Cardinal closed the game out with goals three minutes apart in the second half.
