Griffin named to America East All-Rookie team

BOSTON -- Bryant University field hockey freshman Natalie Griffin was named to the America East All-Rookie team, the league announced on Wednesday. 

Griffin becomes the first Bulldog field hockey player to earn postseason honors from the America East. 

The Walpole, Mass., native was one of two field players to start all 19 games this season. Griffin contributed a pair of assists as well. She collected helpers against Merrimack and Saint Louis.
