Bulldogs drop Monday morning contest at Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Bryant University field hockey team fell to Fairfield, 5-0, Monday morning at University Field.

Bryant now turns its attention to its home opener on Friday, September 8. Friday will mark the first home game at Bryant's new astroturf and there will be a ceremonial ribbon cutting at 2:30 p.m. The game is set for a 4:00 p.m. start.

  • The Stags scored in the second minute of the game and never looked back.    

How it Happened

  • Off a broken play, Alex Senior was able to carry into the circle and slotted a ball into the far corner. 
  • The Stags would add two goals in the third and two goals in the fourth to close out the scoring.
