SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- The Bryant University field hockey team fell to Cal, 8-1, on Sunday afternoon.

First Quarter

• Cal scored 2:24 into the game to take the lead.
• Cal then scored three times in the final four minutes of the quarter.

• A penalty stroke goal made it 5-0 at the half.

• Cal added to its lead to make it 6-0.
• The Bulldogs then scored their first goal. Brittany Gouws rifled a penalty corner into the cage.
