Graduated from Virginia Episcopal School in Lynchburg, Va. before spending a post-graduate year at The Hill School (PA) where he played for coach Seth Eilberg... Graduated from The Hill School in 2009... Also played two years of football and two years of track at Virginia Episcopal... Played AAU this past summer for the East Coast Fusion AAU program.
